Datenschutzerklärung für Totabi

Deine Tagebücher gehören dir. Totabi hat keine Accounts, keine Werbung, keine Analyse-Tools und kein Tracking. Was du schreibst, zeichnest und einklebst, bleibt auf deinem Gerät und – wenn du iCloud-Sync einschaltest – in deiner privaten iCloud. Ich als Entwickler sehe es nie.

Deine Tagebücher

Tagebücher, Seiten, Texte und Zeichnungen, Fotos und Sticker, gescannte Tickets, gepresste Blätter, eigene Handschrift-Schriften, Einstellungen und der Name auf der Karte im Einband werden nur in Totabis Speicher auf deinem Gerät abgelegt. Sie sind in deinen Geräte-Backups enthalten (je nach deinen Backup-Einstellungen) und werden gelöscht, wenn du Totabi löschst.

iCloud-Sync

iCloud-Sync ist ausgeschaltet, bis du es einschaltest. Dann werden dieselben Daten zusätzlich in deiner privaten iCloud-Datenbank gespeichert, damit sie auf deinen anderen Geräten mit derselben Apple-Account erscheinen. Das übernimmt Apple gemäß der Datenschutzrichtlinie von Apple; nur du hast Zugriff darauf.

Kamera, Fotos und Mikrofon

Wenn du es möchtest, nutzt Totabi die Kamera, um Fotos, Bahnhofsstempel, Tickets und Belege aufzunehmen. Die Fotoauswahl gibt Totabi nur die Fotos, die du auswählst. Bilder werden auf deinem Gerät verarbeitet und nirgendwohin hochgeladen. Das Mikrofon wird nur während einer Sprachnotiz-Aufnahme genutzt; die Aufnahme bleibt bei deinem Tagebuch.

Standort

Wenn du es erlaubst, nutzt Totabi deinen Standort während der Nutzung, um den Ort auf der Tagesseite zu benennen und Reisekarten zu zeichnen. Dafür werden Koordinaten an Apple Maps gesendet und von Apple gemäß dessen Datenschutzrichtlinie verarbeitet. Totabi speichert keinen Standortverlauf außer den Orten, die in deinen Tagebüchern stehen.

Face ID

Gesperrte Tagebücher werden mit Face ID oder dem Gerätecode entsperrt. Das erledigt iOS; Totabi erhält nur die Information, ob das Entsperren geklappt hat, und nie biometrische Daten.

Käufe (Totabi Plus) und RevenueCat

Käufe von Totabi Plus wickelt Apple ab. Um den Kauf zu bestätigen, nutzt Totabi den Dienst RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). RevenueCat erhält dabei eine anonyme App-Kennung, deinen Kaufverlauf und technische Angaben wie Land, App- und iOS-Version sowie die beim Abruf übertragene IP-Adresse. RevenueCat erhält nie Inhalte deiner Tagebücher und keinen Namen, keine E-Mail-Adresse und keine Werbe-ID.

Zweck ist die Bereitstellung und Wiederherstellung deines Abos auf deinen Geräten sowie eine Auswertung der Verkäufe; Rechtsgrundlage ist Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (Vertragserfüllung) bzw. für die Verkaufsauswertung Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (berechtigtes Interesse). Da RevenueCat in den USA sitzt, können Daten in die USA übertragen werden. Mehr dazu: Datenschutzrichtlinie von RevenueCat.

Kein Tracking

Totabi nutzt keine Werbe-ID, keine Werbung, keine Analyse-SDKs und verkauft oder teilt keine Daten zu Werbezwecken.

Kontakt per E-Mail

Wenn du mir schreibst, verwende ich deine Angaben nur zur Bearbeitung deiner Anfrage (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO) und lösche die E-Mail nach Erledigung, sofern keine gesetzlichen Aufbewahrungspflichten bestehen.

Kinder

Totabi fragt niemanden nach Namen, E-Mail-Adressen oder anderen Kontaktdaten, auch keine Kinder.

Deine Rechte

Du hast die Rechte auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch (Art. 15–21 DSGVO) sowie das Recht, dich bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde zu beschweren. Da ich keine Tagebuchdaten erhalte, kannst du diese jederzeit selbst in der App oder durch Löschen der App entfernen. Wende dich für alles andere an die oben genannte E-Mail-Adresse.

Änderungen

Wenn sich diese Datenschutzerklärung ändert, erscheint die neue Fassung hier und in der App mit neuem Datum.

Totabi Privacy Policy

Your journals are yours. Totabi has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking. Everything you write, draw, and stick into your journals stays on your device and, if you turn on iCloud Sync, in your private iCloud. The developer never sees it.

Your journals

Journals, pages, writing and drawings, photos and stickers, scanned tickets, pressed leaves, handwriting fonts you make, your settings, and the name on the card inside the cover are stored only in Totabi's storage on your device. They are included in your device backups according to your backup settings and are deleted when you delete Totabi.

iCloud Sync

iCloud Sync is off until you turn it on. When it's on, the same data is also stored in your private iCloud database, so it appears on your other devices signed in to the same Apple Account. It is handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy, and only you can access it.

Camera, photos, and microphone

When you choose to, Totabi uses the camera to take photos and to capture station stamps, tickets, and receipts. The photo picker only gives Totabi the photos you select. Images are processed on your device and are not uploaded anywhere. The microphone is used only while you record a voice note, and the recording stays with your journal.

Location

If you allow it, Totabi uses your location while you're using the app to name the place on Today's Page and to draw trip maps. To do this, coordinates are sent to Apple Maps and handled by Apple under its own privacy policy. Totabi keeps no location history beyond the places saved in your journals.

Face ID

Locked diaries open with Face ID or your device passcode. iOS handles this; Totabi only learns whether unlocking succeeded and never receives biometric data.

Purchases (Totabi Plus) and RevenueCat

Purchases of Totabi Plus are handled by Apple. To confirm them, Totabi uses RevenueCat (RevenueCat, Inc., USA). RevenueCat receives an anonymous app identifier, your purchase history, and technical details such as your country, app and iOS version, and the IP address used for the request. It never receives your journals, your name, your email address, or an advertising identifier.

This is used to provide and restore your subscription across your devices and to report on sales. Under the GDPR, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) (performance of a contract) and, for sales reporting, Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest). Because RevenueCat is based in the United States, data may be transferred there. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

No tracking

Totabi uses no advertising identifier, no ads, and no analytics SDKs, and does not sell or share data for advertising.

Contacting me

If you email me, I use what you send only to answer you and delete the email once your request is resolved, unless the law requires keeping it.

Children

Totabi doesn't ask anyone, including children, for a name, email address, or other contact details.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, and port your data and to object to its processing (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to complain to a data protection authority. Since I never receive your journals, you can remove them yourself at any time in the app or by deleting it. For anything else, write to the email address above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear here and in the app with a new date.
